What data does Doctor Spins collect?

We collect the data needed to open and operate your account. That includes the identifying details you enter at signup, the documents you upload during verification, the payment details required to process deposits and withdrawals, the play history that supports loyalty rewards and disputes, and the technical data that keeps the site secure. We do not collect data from your device beyond what is necessary to deliver the service and prevent fraud.

Why do you process my data?

The main lawful bases are contract performance and legal obligation. We need your details to provide the service you signed up for and to meet our responsibilities under UK gambling, anti money laundering and consumer protection law. A smaller set of activity, such as marketing email or product analytics, runs on consent or legitimate interest, and you can opt out of those any time from your account settings.

Who do you share my data with?

Data is shared only where it is necessary or required. That includes regulated game providers who run the studios, licensed payment processors who clear your transactions, identity verification partners who confirm KYC and the licensing authority where it is required to do so. We never sell personal data and we never share with marketing third parties without your consent.

What rights do I have under UK GDPR?

You can request a copy of the data we hold, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, ask us to delete data we no longer have a lawful basis to hold, withdraw consent for marketing and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Send any request to privacy@doctorspins.online and we will reply within one calendar month, usually much faster.

How does Doctor Spins keep your data safe in practice?

Security is built into the platform rather than bolted on. All connections to the site run over TLS 1.3, which encrypts data in transit so anyone intercepting traffic only sees scrambled bytes. Stored personal data sits behind encryption at rest, with access keys held in a separate secure module. Access to identifying data is limited to a small group of staff who genuinely need it for verification, payments, support or fraud prevention, and every access event is logged. Independent penetration tests run twice a year and any findings are remediated before being closed. The cookie policy explains the small additional categories of data captured in your browser session.

What happens during identity verification

UK regulation requires casinos to verify the identity, age and address of every account holder. We use a regulated KYC partner that compares the documents you upload against trusted reference data, returning only a pass or fail to our team. The documents themselves are encrypted and held for the period required by law, then deleted automatically. We do not share your documents with marketing partners and we do not use them to enrich third party profiles.

Marketing preferences and how to change them

Marketing consent is opt in. If you tick the marketing box at signup we can send you offers by email, SMS or push. You can withdraw consent any time from the account dashboard or by clicking unsubscribe in any marketing email. Withdrawing consent stops marketing within 48 hours but does not affect operational emails like withdrawal confirmations or responsible gambling notices, which we send regardless of consent because they are required for the service or for safer play. Reviewing the responsible gambling page for the safer play settings is always a good idea.

Your full rights under UK GDPR

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold (subject access request), ask us to correct inaccurate data, ask us to delete data we no longer have a lawful basis to hold, restrict processing while a complaint is investigated, port your data to another provider in a structured format and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We aim to reply within one calendar month, usually much faster.

Children and underage access

Doctor Spins is restricted to adults aged eighteen and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone underage. If we identify an underage account, we close it, return any deposit to the original payment method and void any winnings. Parents or guardians who suspect an underage account has been opened should contact our compliance team immediately so we can investigate and close the account.

Updates to this policy

We review this Privacy Policy at least once a year and after any material change in how we process data. Material changes are communicated by email to registered players at least thirty days before they take effect, giving you time to review the new terms and adjust your preferences before they apply.
